On behalf of the organizing committee, I am delighted to invite you to join us for the 15th edition of Polycondensation, which will take place on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from September 27–30, 2026.

The Polycondensation conference series was launched in Paris in 1996 and has since been held every two years, rotating among Europe, Asia, and the United States. Polycondensation 2026 will be a special milestone as we celebrate the 30th anniversary of this longstanding and vibrant polymer community.

Polycondensation has always provided a unique forum dedicated to recent advances in polycondensation chemistry. The field continues to evolve rapidly as new polymers are developed to meet societal needs. How can we advance these materials sustainably? Can machine learning (AI) accelerate discovery and innovation? These themes—and many others—will be explored throughout the program, building on the long tradition of innovation driven by collaboration among academia, national laboratories, and industry.

We look forward to welcoming you to Chapel Hill, learning about your latest research, exchanging ideas, forming new collaborations, and exploring the developments that will shape the future of polycondensation.
