Join CareerWell for an opportunity to learn from local leaders about academic administration careers. Carolina graduate students will get the opportunity to request the leader they'd prefer to dine with, and over a catered lunch, our esteemed guests will work with student attendees on collaborative problem-solving prompts. Suggested attire is business casual. This event will begin promptly at noon, and we appreciate your punctuality.
All registrants for this event will receive an email enabling them to priority rank tables they would like to sit at. Failure to respond to this follow-up email by the confirmation deadline will result in us assigning you to a table of our choice. While we expect this event to reach capacity quickly, we will do our best to accommodate students on the waitlist with a seat.
Five local non-profit leaders will be participating in this event (names and organizations will be added here as they are confirmed):
Lisa Chapman (Ed.D. Curriculum & Instruction); President at Central Carolina Community College
Melissa Bostrom (PhD in English); Senior Assistant Dean for Graduate Student Professional Development at Duke University
Greg Hedgepeth (MA in Management & Leadership); Director of Marketing and Communications at North Carolina State University
Eileen Hammond (MA in Communication Studies, PhD in Communication Studies); Director of Grants Development and Management at Durham Tech Foundation
Lauren Love (MA in Educational Technology); Graduate Admissions Specialist at North Carolina Central University
