The Office of Postdoctoral Affairs invites all international postdoctoral scholars to join us for a 1-hour virtual check-in and conversation. This informal session is an opportunity to connect with fellow international postdocs, share experiences, raise questions, and discuss any challenges or needs you may have as you navigate your time at Carolina.

Director Essie Torres and Associate Director Alan Marsh will be present to listen, learn from your experiences, and share information about OPA’s programs, resources, and support services. While immigration advising is handled by ISSS, we welcome general questions about navigating campus, accessing support, and making the most of your postdoctoral experience.

Whether you’d like to speak, ask questions, or simply listen, you are warmly welcome to attend. This session is designed to foster community, identify shared needs, and ensure international postdocs feel supported throughout their training experience.
