Integrating different roles and responsibilities in faculty life is challenging, but essential, for a successful academic career. This interactive workshop, adapted from CIMER’s Mentoring Up curriculum, supports faculty by going beyond time management to understanding how they establish and honor priorities across their professional and personal lives and reflecting on changes they want to make. Using tools like the 4-Way View assessment and through guided discussions, participants will explore strategies for managing their work-life domains, identifying priorities, setting boundaries, and building intentional habits to enhance well-being and satisfaction.

This workshop is open to all faculty interested in improving work-life integration. Early-career faculty, fixed-term and tenure-track, and emerging faculty leaders may find it especially valuable for their career planning. Participants in CFE’s Peer Mentoring Circles are highly encouraged to attend.
