The ImPACT Internship program gives life science graduate students the opportunity to do paid internships at local companies.  Since 2014, over 200 interns have gained valuable career experience in organizations at the forefront of R&D, science policy, technology transfer/business development, teaching, administration, outreach and other sectors of the research enterprise. At this event, interns from the 2025 cohort will present posters about their experiences and how it helped shape their career path.  

Following the poster session we will open the 2026 ImPACT application season with an explanation of the program, how to apply, internship options, how interns are matched, etc.  Members of the ImPACT leadership team (Dr. Patrick Brandt, Dr. Donita Robinson, and Dr. Patrick Brennwald) will be present to answer questions throughout the event. Any interested graduate student is welcome to attend, and if you plan to apply for an ImPACT internship in 2026 we especially hope to see you there. 

Scientists and business leaders from past and future internship host organizations will also be present and networking opportunities will abound during the poster session and reception.  Wine and beer will be available as well as non alcoholic options. Light hors d'oeuvres will be served during the poster session and reception.
