Join Zak Anderson, MD, SFHM, CPPS, Campus Career Navigator and Director of Medical Education at Huntersville Medical Center, as he leads the session on "Balancing Clinical Demands and Education: Innovative Approaches for Busy Clinicians". Dr. Anderson is an associate faculty member for the Novant Health Family Medicine Residency program. His clinical interests include hospital medicine, medical education, and patient safety.

The objectives for the session are:

1.  To discuss innovative strategies to enhance education and patient care in a time-crunched environment.
2.  To discuss ways to empower UME and GME learners in directing their own education.

This session is sponsored by UNC SOM Novant Health Charlotte Campus (Faculty Meeting) and the Office of Faculty Affairs and Leadership Development (UNC SOM).
