Welcome to the inaugural TarHEAL (Healthcare Empowerment, Advocacy, and Leadership) Nursing Academy! Our non-credit, two-week program (June 23-July 3, 2025) is designed to provide an immersive cultural and international global experience for undergraduate nursing students by unifying campuses through workshops and cultural activities.
Students will focus on the four following pillars: healthcare, empowerment, advocacy, and leadership.
Our program is designed to provide an immersive cultural and international global experience by unifying campuses through education and training. By doing so, our participants will have several takeaways, such as:
Broaden worldview of healthcare practices
Global economic empowerment for sustainable communities
Improve English communication skills
Enhance advocacy skills for meaningful change in your communities
