Innovations and Transformations in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (ITPS) is a 3-week course offered to pharmacy and pharmaceutical science learners around the world by the No. 1-ranked school of pharmacy in the United States. Through this program, participants will develop their knowledge and skills in key areas including the drug development pipeline (from discovery and delivery to outcomes and practice), pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacy practice, and professional development. ITPS will expose learners to world class professors, cutting edge research, and innovative technologies as we explore the lifecycle of drugs and vaccines in our modern world. Participants have two options to attend ITPS:

Option 1 - Residential:
Participants can attend ITPS in person on the University of North Carolina campus in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA. During the program, you will attend lectures live at the School of Pharmacy, participate in various skills labs (pharmacy compounding, HPLC simulation, etc.), visit local pharmaceutical industries in Research Triangle Park, and experience the culture of North Carolina. Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive four credit hours and an official UNC transcript. 

Pricing: $5,750 USD (includes housing, food, health insurance, tuition, cultural activities, and transportation for program activities) 
*$5,500 USD if you register by January 31st, 2024* 

Registration: Please complete the registration on this page and pay the non-refundable deposit ($250 USD). This deposit will be applied towards your overall program fee. Once this is completed, someone from our office will send you a link to complete your enrollment and request your visa documents. 


Option 2 - Virtual:
Participants can attend ITPS virtually from anywhere in the world. Those who select this option will have access to all lectures to watch live or view recorded at their own convenience. You will also have access to a weekly recitation to review educational material and connect with faculty and students from UNC. Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive a Certificate of Completion. Live programming will be held from 8:00am - 11:30am EST most days.
