Part 2 of CGSF Lunch & Learn mentorship series. Students are encouraged, but not required, to also attend Finding a Mentor on 9/26. The skills learned in this series build upon each other and students will benefit most if taken as a series.
Effective communication is essential for establishing a strong mentor-mentee relationship. The purpose of this workshop is to aid graduate students in Diversity and Student Success in overcoming communication barriers with their academic mentors. Participants will receive guidance and strategies for clear and assertive communication to facilitate successful interactions with their mentors.
