Part 1 of CGSF Lunch and Learn mentorship series. Students are encouraged, but not required, to attend Effective Communication with Your Mentor on 10/10. The skills learned in this series build upon each other, and students will benefit most if taken as a series.

For graduate students, securing a faculty mentor is an integral component of their training, advancement, and success. This workshop offers participants the opportunity to acquire the necessary skills to recognize the critical aspects of a mentoring relationship, cultivate the capacity to excel under different mentoring styles and investigate the established conventions of mentoring within various academic disciplines.
