These events are intended for the directors, staff, and other core facility stakeholders at UNC Chapel Hill.

Core facilities who provide goods and services to external (non UNC Chapel Hill and NC State) customers must charge a minimum external rate of the break-even rate + 55.5% F&A costs. Any profit earned above the break even rate has a different and less restricted set of allowable expenses it may be spent on. Cores can use this money to invest in new equipment or purchase office supplies, for instance.
