In time for the holiday season, Dr. Anne Harris' talk provides a review of feeding and eating concerns common among individuals with I/DD and offer strategies on how to address these concerns. 
Some goals for this talk are for you to:
1.     Develop a better understanding of feeding and eating related experiences among individuals with I/DD.
2.     Learn about the relationship between feeding and eating and other physical and mental health experiences in individuals with I/DD.
3.     Consider evidence-based practices and learn tips to promote health and address food related challenges for individuals with I/DDs across the lifespan.

Dr. Harris is a UNC School of Medicine postdoctoral fellow at the CIDD where she previously served as a predoctoral intern and LEND fellow.
