Title: NC Infection Control Curriculum for Home Health / Hospice Settings
This state-approved course is offered in an online module/post-module assessment format. Successful completion of the post-module assessments affirms that the participant has acquired the training mandated by the North Carolina Statute .0206, Infection Control in Health Care Facilities Rule, which requires that each health facility designate a staff member to direct infection prevention activities.

Nursing Contact Hours: 4.0
Learners will self-report an increase in knowledge of current infection prevention and control principles and evidence based practices.
Learners must complete all 6 modules and achieve a score of 80% or greater on each module before moving to the next module. Learners must complete the on-line course evaluation to receive the course completion certificate and continuing education credit.
The expiration date for this course is 10/14/2022.
