Emily Olsson	Program Manager, Research Recruitment and Retention	Emily currently leads the Research Recruitment and Retention Program at the UNC-CH North Carolina Translational and Clinical Sciences Institute (NC TraCS); in this role, she is able to focus exclusively on participant recruitment - her team helps study teams to effectively and proactively plan recruitment strategies, assists in re-calibration of strategies for struggling studies, and promotes awareness of and access to research opportunities for both potential participants as well as their clinicians.

Successful participant accrual and retention are critical to the success of any research study or clinical trial.
