IME Presents the "From Surviving to Thriving" Series
The workshops in this series are designed to provide students the skills and tools to successfully navigate academia and toxic working/learning environments, going from merely "surviving to thriving".

Social Identities and Academia
The goal of this workshop is for participants to build community with fellow graduate students of color while sharing and reflecting on personal experiences around identity. Participants will build connections with peers across campus by reflecting on their social identities and the various ways those identities become visible in different contexts, including academia. Join us in this affirming space! Snacks will be provided.
