This training course provides researchers working with animals at UNC an overview of how animal care applications are created, reviewed, approved and maintained.  The lecture covers the basics of navigating ACAP, submitting applications, the IACUC review process, application approvals, amendments, annual renewals and continuation applications.  This is not a required course, but all Principal Investigators, Laboratory Animal Coordinators and lab personnel who use ACAP are welcome to attend, especially those new to animal work at UNC.
