This online self-paced module is designed for professionals who work with and/or support learners with autism and their families in a variety of learning environments.
In this AFIRM module, Technology-aided Instruction & Intervention, professionals will learn how to plan for, use, and monitor the evidence-based practice. Technology-aided instruction and intervention is defined as "any electronic item/ equipment/ application/or virtual network that is used intentionally to increase/maintain, and/or improve daily living, work/productivity, and recreation/leisure capabilities of adolescents with autism spectrum disorders" (Odom, Thompson, et al., 2013).

NOTE: If you have found this course through the UNC Event Registration System, you will need to go to the AFIRM website (afirm.fpg.unc.edu) to register and take the Technology-aided Instruction & Intervention module. Once you complete the module, you will have the option to pay for the CEs through the UNC Event Registration System.
