Targeted Reading Instruction @ Home (TRI@Home) helps YOU teach YOUR child to read! Your personal TRI coach will join you for one-on-one live support via Zoom as you complete TRI lessons with your beginning reader (ages 4-8). Each thirty-minute session includes live coaching and help planning future lessons.

 For over 15 years, TRI has helped hundreds of children learn to read using research-based activities and strategies. TRI studies and the U.S. Department of Education's What Works Clearinghouse have confirmed TRI's impacts on child reading. Your registration fee includes access to TRI's coaching and digital resources that have been proven so effective. 

TRI@Home will give you research-based activities and strategies to teach your beginning readers (ages 4-8). Your certified TRI coach will provide one-on-one live support via Zoom. Each thirty minute session will include live coaching as you work with your student using the TRI program along with assistance planning your future lessons.To learn more about our program, visit our website: https://tri.fpg.unc.edu.  

You can sign up for a single coaching session or a block of nine sessions, either of which can be scheduled at your convenience. You will also receive access to our digital TRI materials and lesson plans.   

This registration link is for a block of four sessions, which can be scheduled at your convenience. You can also register for a single session or a block of nine sessions. Nine sessions are recommended, but four sessions will start you on the path to effective reading instruction with TRI.

You may cancel your sessions at any time. If you cancel within 24 hours of registration, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel prior to the start of coaching session(s), you will receive a refund of the registration fee minus a $75 administrative fee. If you cancel after coaching session(s) have started, you will receive a refund of the registration fee minus a $75 fee per coaching session used and a $75 administrative fee.
